About Rayman 3D

Should i get it?

I'm an hour through Rayman Revolution,but i heard the 3DS version is somehow updated.

Is it different enough?

i havn't played revolution but the 3ds version isn't going to be any better..it's going to be worse.. there is no voice acting in the 3ds version which makes the game seem wierd imo..

but the 3d is really cool... if its 12 bucks go ahead and replay it if you like.

The 3DS version is pretty much an exact port of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 which is consicered by many to be the best version. It works great and dosen't have that annoying voice acting from the PS1 and PS2 games. It retains the charming jibberish of the original. It's one of the greatest 3D platformers of all time and should be played. Revolution has quite a bit of added content from the Dreamcast/n64 versions as it came out after though.

P.s. the 3D sucks in this game. Keep it off.

yea... but why are you going to return revolution? are you not liking it?

rayman 3d is basically the same game. revolution is more updated than the 3ds version... 3ds version is from the dreamcast and revolution came out later (ps2)

YES,but i've heard it's abit updated,and i want the best version of the game,don't you realise that......

umm...personally... i would play the ps1 version....but everybody says the dremacast version is the best and that's what is on the 3ds...

revolution will have better graphics and will be a bit more modern since it came out later....

honestly this game is a confusing mess with like 20 different versions.... good luck.

btw.. im playing the 3ds version...because i like nintendo the best....i never played a rayman game before and i am enjoying it.

yes, it's pretty cheap, worth it imo. THe graphics are outdated but the 3D is AMAZING. I replay it all the time just for that. it's by far the best 3D out of all the games i've played.crispyo

Funny,nother user in this thread said the opposite.

It's not that great and the 3D is terrible.

Get the PC version from GoG or find a Dreamcast copy.
