A call for an update...

... to the recommendation thread. It has not been updated since JULY (!!) and still we are not allowed to post new threads asking for help. Metroid isn't even in there, for God's sake. I agree with the need for such a thread, it's just that our's is so dreadfully out of date that it is rendered useless, and everyone that wants to a recommendation question cannot, but more importantly, will have their question unanswered because of an inadequate sticky.

A little overdramatic perhaps, but you get my point. Please update the sticky.

Dont worry about it dude. Your not hurting anyone by creating this topic. But I do agree with the guy when I think that you should have just msg'd the mod and not created this topic. But whatever, to late. I just hope the situation is resolved.

It's not CheezyFrog's fault that it isn't updated. He'll have to redo the whole thing or give it up to someone else. I'll contact him about it.

I assume you haven't gotten this error in a long post. It's almost impossible to find this vague badly-formed HTML code. Let alone thirty of them.

It took about ten minutes to locate the problem and about fifteen seconds to fix it, thanks to WordPerfect's handy "find and replace" feature.

In case anyone familiar with HTML is wondering, the problem was in the image code. It's difficult to explain it because I'll get an error, but I'll try using descriptive terms instead of the code. He was using the method of IMG and /IMG in square brackets surrounding the URL. This was causing problems for some reason, so I changed it to the standard HTML method of img src=URL in angle brackets, and it fixed the problem.
