If I try to locate an access point on the 3DS, I end up finding nothing. My Wii connects just fine to our wireless, and has no problems whatsoever.
Help me out here :(

I had the same problem with my DS lite. You have to enter the info maually. Here is what you do.
Go to command prompt and type in the command "ipconfig"
this will allow you to get a list of your ip,subnet mask, gateway and primary and secondary DNS (if you do not havea secondary DNS just type in your primary DNS in the secondary DNS box on the DS/3DS.
You may also need to asign your DS it's own IP. So for example when i enter my ip on my DS lite what i did was change the last number of my IP from 6 to 7.
I'm not 100% if it will work with 3DS because I don't have one yet. But just give it a try.
I changed router and for some reason could not connect
Â
Found out that it was the DNS part, it did not assign it right, so i used google DNS servers (800 comething if i recall) and worked right away
Â
Also try assigning IP etc manually too
I got my 3ds a week ago and thought you connected to the 3ds wifi by going to the Nintendo DS Connections.I couldnt get it to connect for a day. Turns out its Connection Settings where you go to. Maybe you are making the same mistake I did.ÂIf I try to locate an access point on the 3DS, I end up finding nothing. My Wii connects just fine to our wireless, and has no problems whatsoever.
