ENOUGH WITH THIS QUESTION, how do you not know the 3DS plays DS games by now? The thing comes out next month and people asks this at least 3 times a day. why wouldnt the 3DS play regular DS games? same slot only the 3DS games are shaped different so idiots dont try to put them in regular DS's. Google is your friend people, use it.
The 3ds probably does play the original ds games because it's like an updated version of the ds.Hedorah97
It does play DS games, its been a known fact for a long time. Also its not just an "updated version", its a brand new system. Its around the power of a Gamecube-Wii. The DS is like a PS1-N64.
