It saddens me because he is such a classy and talented player but he will be working for NBC so we will not see him go away.  The link for this will be up soon in this thread.

Tiki Barber was good not great but good. If he stayed a couple more seasons he could of at least had a shot towards making the pro football hof. His loss....

He was a class act, but he ended his career by a couple of years too early for Hall of Fame contention. However, it is better to leave the game on your own terms than being forced out via injury or bad play. Tiki was concerned about his well-being and did not make money an issue, which should show the level of character that he possesses. Class and character don't always get you into the Hall of Fame though.

Tiki barber was a very smart athlete. He had a few more good years left in him. It would sure be great to hear his broadcasts, he uses some big words. BTW, like EVERYONE is goin to NBC. WTF is up with that? jim mora went there, the bus drove there, and now tiki?

Well.....when you think about it NBC broadcasting NFL was just established this season. The network has a lot of vacant employment slots.
