Let's try and keep the training camp and preseason stuff in here.
For starters, Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter were both hurt today in practice.
I went to Jags training camp last night in anticipation of seeing the Oklahoma drills and meeting the players like I do every year. The weather was bad and a heavy downpour came before practice began. Friends and I stood out in the heavy rain with our ponchos until security told people it was cancelled, so we went home. Only to find out it was simply delayed for an hour, so we went home early for nothing. I'm so pissed off now. :evil:CommanderShiro
Wow, that sucks. Too bad, I'd be pissed too.
Son of a *****. Just realized when the Saints play opening night, it just happens to be the same night Auburn is playing. What are the odds both of my teams play on a Thursday night?

Pretty rare. I really want to get up to Chiefs training camp this year but I don't think I'll be able to make it this year.
I hope everyone watched the HoF Induction.
BTW: anyone questioning Dallas' status as America's team need only pay attention to the crowd reactions.
Pretty good. Floyd Little gave an excellent speech, as did our boy. I thought the worst was Jerry Rice actually, probably because he read it the entire time and he stinks. Michael Irvin>Him.I hope everyone watched the HoF Induction.

Exact same thoughts. Floyd Little is a natural public speaker.
Nice red-zone playcalling. I really hope they never call that crap in the regular season 3 straight plays or I'm killing.Bobbleswe're in cahoots, alot of good small plays and zero big plays on eihter side of the ball tonight. Right as I'm posting this the LB core scores a TD! Helluva a snag, looked like Phillips grabbing balls tonight! Buehler's 49 yarder was a$$, makes me wish they would've inked Stover or let Folk ride out his bad streak last season.

btw, Emmitt's was the worse, by far....WAY over dramatic imo
Darrelle Revis might sit out 2010. Good move or bad move? Who's in the right?
geaux321
The Jets are right now. Revis has has 3 years left on his contract. He was the best last year only so I think he still has to prove he can be that good on a consistant basis.

Right, his was way worse when he actually decided to practice his speech unlike Jerry who read it off a piece of paper and sounded like he was reading it off a piece of paper. He had one tone throughout the entire speech and never showed any emotion until the end, it was pathetic. You're just being your usual hater self. I never said Emmitt gave the best speech ever, but it was good.On the other comment you are laughing about, it obviously went right over your head. I'm not saying Irvin>>>Rice on the field, I'm talking about public speaking. Irvin gave one of the best HoF speeches in years, Rice gave one of the worst. Although, Irvin was a much better leader than Jerry Rice was. I'm not sure I would trade Irvin for Rice to those 90's teams because of his leadership alone.
I'm a little surprised nobody's posted a gif of the Eli hit last night.geaux321Didn't know one existed. I would love to see one.

That was one sick hit to Eli, I thought for sure he was going to be down longer then that, but he sure is thougher then I first thought.
Seahawks trade DE Lawrence Jackson to Lions
Must be pretty bad when your college coach doesn't even want you around.Â
It isn't really news, but I found this Donte Stallworth article to be an excellent read.wallymartin
Very good read to bad espn doesnt highlight articles like this following p on stars
Tim Cowlishaw has a source that has said the deal is pretty much done and will announced sometime this week.so Revis wants 160 million over the next 10 years...Jets offering 120 million for the next 10 years
their saying the negotations are ongoing so im guessing the numbers will be somewhere between 120-160 million......crazy money

Favre already getting calls, how is this not a fumble?
geaux321
Oh it was absolutely a fumble. No questions or doubts.
So on another note If Sam Bradford can throw the ball as well as he did in the game against the Patriots on consistant basis that dude could be a great QB in NFL.
Meanwhile my Pats looked pretty fxxking bad and couldn't stop the Rams for shxt.
Donnie Avery possibly out for the year:

He probably has a significant knee injury, whatever that means. He was wobbling very dangerously though, does not look good at all.

Yea when he landed and rolled over a little his knee looked wobbly, ACL injuries are not for the weak hearted.
[QUOTE="Put_in_Kitna"]Dallas stinks so bad. Now I only see em going 14-2 on the year. BobblesNah man, only 13 wins.

His injuries must've been worse than we thought. Good thing by the Bengals IMO though; he's damaged goods and doesn't seem to try when he's in a contract year.

They owe him 8 million for this year though. I wish I could put in 4 weeks work and get paid that much.

Did he even put in 4 weeks work?ÂYeah, only one missed FG out of 10-11 attempts? I'll take that, especially since that miss came in the HoF game and it was a long kick. He's gotten better since then and hopefully it continues in the regular season. At the very least, I feel good about Buehler.
