Darren McFadden, Arkansas - RB - McFadden is regarded as the best player in this draft, he dominated the SEC with his all-around skills, too bad he was Arkansas best QB.
Jeff Otah, Pittsburgh - OT - Huge, but a bit raw. Only started playing football when he was a Senior in high school. Still he is a great athlete.
Vernon Gholston, Ohio St. - DE/OLB - Really came on last year. Great at rushing the passer, and is very quick. Has good upside to become a Shawn Merriman type player.
Sedrick Ellis, USC - DT - It has been back and forth between he and Dorsey for #1 DT. Ellis is a tad smaller (not much), but is still a monster. Played outstanding at the Senior Bowl. I'm not sure if he fits in the Jets scheme, but I'm going to put him here anyways.

simple jets have no solid qb their o-line has improved..but they need a offensive outburts player

I think Thomas Jones is a pretty good RB and if anything they should give Leon Washington a shot before trying to draft a RB.And their problem is not the RB's its the O-Line and they made some signings to help their O-Line so the next logical pick is Vernon Gholston.Apocalypse30
