I got it when it first came out and have since moved on to Madden.
The only requirement to transfer to Madden is that you must be a Legend(Legend).
It will always say the word Legend at the top of your screen(dormroom), but it usually starts as Legend(Rookie).
Then it goes to Legend(Starter), Legend(Impact), Legend(All-American) and Legend(Legend).
You might skip some of these depending on how well you do. Winning the Heisman at ANY point in the game makes you an automatic (Legend).
You can leave NCAA after your third year if you are a (Legend), otherwise after your senior year it will ask you if you want to become a coach, or enter the draft.
