Meizu MX4 Official - Starting at $290 USD

Meizu has officially announced their MX4 smartphone with mid-high specifications and a starting price of CNY 1,799 (~$290 USD). The device can now be pre-ordered in China and will ship to buyers on Sept. 20th.

The rumoured MX4 "Pro" with Samsung's Exynos 5433, 128 GB storage, and other improved specifications should be announced at a later date with a Q4 2014 launch.

Just to clarify, the MediaTek MT6595 has 8 CPU cores running in a big.LITTLE configuration. The CPU uses 4x Cortex A17 (large cores) and 4x Cortex A7 (small cores). All 8 of the CPU cores can be utilized at the same time if required. The GPU is a PowerVR 6 series, the G6200.
