H1Z1 now free-to-play, pro league starts in April - gamespot.com

H1Z1 could have disappeared in the scene of the game Battle Royale, but thanks to its new Pro League in April, it will see a new life in the electronic sports.

Before the hysteria in the battlefields of PlayerUnknown and the surreal ascent of Fortnite, H1Z1 was the game that shot everything. The real scene of the multiplayer game wouldn't be what it is today if H1Z1 hadn't paved the way. Many consider the game style of Battle Royale to be the most popular in multiplayer mode so far, but H1Z1 seems to have lost it in action.

Unfortunately, it has not experienced a great success online like the monsters mentioned above. The good news, however, is that the H1Z1 has become free recently when the developers of Daybreak Game Company have decided to make this big change at the beginning of the month.

The results were mixed with making the big change. More than 10 million players now own the H1Z1, with just over two million new players since the change. Keep in mind that the traction developers still don't see what traction they would like to see the developers as they continue to knock down their best players every weekend as they are free to play.

Make No mistake about it; The free game helps H1Z1 to compete with others in the space it helped to create, but that won't be enough. If the developers really want to go further, they should consider creating a free version on the consoles. Being able to play with friends and family on the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One would certainly expose even more players to the game.

The largest area that should help H1Z1 to return to the actual scene of the battle will be his future adventure in esports. When the developers announced that the game would be free, they also confirmed that a new electronic sports league would be born. Starting in April, a new Pro League of 15 teams will be launched with its main site located in Las Vegas to organize events, tournaments and streaming content.

More exposure in electronic sports will make players want to play more, broadcast their adventures in the game and create a big stir around H1Z1. Players love electronic Sports and if this new H1Z1 Pro League offers incredible gameplay, it could attract many more players.

It is a good idea to continue to give players more options to enjoy everything that represents the real battle. With constant updates, tweaks, game modes and, hopefully, a strong presence in electronic sports once the Pro League is launched, the H1Z1 will flourish again.
