I was thinking of getting the new iPad Mini 2 when it releases but I was wondering if there's any useful apps I could download for college? Plus, is it good for reading? CheersĀ :)

What are you studying? Pages, Numbers and the other Apple one (similar to Powerpoint, can't remember it's name) are really good educational apps.

And it's easy to read and type on - I'm writing this reply on my own :-)

I couldn't tell you if the iPad mini 2 is good to read on as I'm not aware of the specs, but I can tell you I've been a little disappointed with the current iPad mini's resolution. I use the Papers app for storing and reading scientific papers, but I have difficulty with the smaller fonts in some of the PDFs (when at full screen). Unless the mini gets a bump in resolution, I'd recommend the larger iPad if you plan to use in a similar way.
