I'm making this post becuase I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to everybody in time on the IRC. Planetside 2 launches in 3 hours and a lot of members have expressed interest in playing the game (it's free on Steam) it would be best if everybody creates a character on the same server.
My outfit in Planetside has chosen along with like 17 other major outfits that the server "Mattherson" will be our new home. I will be creating a New Conglomorate character there.
While that will be my main server, it doesn't have to be the one that GUFU chooses. GUFU can also choose what faction we all want to be.
You're given 3 different characters per SoE account. These characters can be on any server and in any faction. Of course if you want more you can buy more account slots or open up a new SoE account. Since there are 3 factions, I don't see why you would want more.
Anyways, I'll be coordinating with people on the IRC and here so that the majority of GUFU members are on the same server and in the same faction whenever possible.
