Games that make you happy :D

For those times when you feel down

There are some games you want to play when you feel bad about something and change your humor back to normal, it can be for having soothing music, familiar controls or a nice atmosphere that just put a smile on your face :D < ---smile

So, when I feel somethings is wrong I usually play these games to calm myself:

It is perfect for this occassions, since it puts you in a gray world and you have to color it!

Super Mario Galaxy

Who doesn't like to hang around just exploring little planets or going to Gusty Garden Galaxy just to hear the music?

Left 4 Dead

A great stress reliever :D :twisted:

So which are your pick-me-up games?

No I'm just kidding, probably Street Fighter IV.

Well I do love playing GTA4. Puts a smile on my face when I blast lafi in the face with a shotgun.

Halo 3: Because, on top of the already excellent FPS gameplay, there are several ways to have fun that don't involve shooting. Rocket Race, Grifball, etc. All great ways to have fun in Halo 3. But, when I've got a good team, there's nothing like hopping into a social slayer match and owning all comers. 

Gears of War 2: Lately, I've been playing this with my buddies and I've gotta say, it's fun as hell. Sure, it may be glitchy, and occasionally laggy as all hell but there's nothing like blowing someone's head clean off at close range with the shotgun.

GTA IV: Because I love driving aimlessly around the city, taking in the sights and making up my own fun things to do. Yes, I'm serious.

Left 4 Dead: Endless lulz there when playing with GUFU members.

For me

De Blob is one of those games, but I haven't played it often enough. LBP is another, RE 5 is another, DOA 4 is another, and Halo 3, and Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, Tetris, Pokemon Puzzle League, Planet Puzzle League and any other variations of that game, and umm... Yeah, Gaming just makes me happy a lot but there are quite a lot of games that make me really happy. :)

Competitive games playing against my friends, the old school setting on the couch way, not the online way.

In street fighter and pro evolution soccer hysterical hilarious things happens that we can't stop laughing for a long time about it.

Like when my friend got tired of losing in pro and started to say that we're lucky sobs and said that me and my friend were doing nasty things with the director of the game and the jokes came after that :lol:

Really in all honesty, I don't know how I could play that game. See, my t.v. is 65", surround sound, in the LIVING room. :P There'd have to be days when I'm home alone and not with the girlfriend to play it. :P Also, my girlfriend would probably not like me playing it too. :( :P

When you want to play DOA X2 in your living room, just tell the family you need to watch (what ever educational channel you have there) some program on a socialogical study you're doing for school, and that you really need to not be disturbed. Then tell the GF about a massive shoe sale. She won't be coming to your house for a loooooooong time :P

And you'll be very glad you played this game on your 65" movie screen... errr TV. Especially when you unlock the poledance for Ayane ;):D
