Would you join a site that allowed you to share content, play in free tournaments and find parties?

Hey people,

Need your help as fellow gamers. Would you join a site that allowed you to play in teams against others, create your own leagues and join parties if you had no one to play with on your consoles? I can answer any questions. All would be free, I think we're really missing something like that since all the sites that used to offer a similar service either moved to Pay to Play or looked so old I'm surprised anyone uses them!

Reason I've asked is I'm embarking on an adventure to make a site that does this (no links to follow advertising rules!) and I want to get some feedback before I properly commit to it. Any suggestions/feedback to develop the idea would be great, I started something on Kickstarter as well to see what general public feedback was as well!
