Poll: What is Your Favorite WWII Game Series?

WW II games are some of the best shooter titles available, and there are a bunch to choose from. From the historically accurate to the fantastic, which WW II game series is your favorite?

where is the first call of duty?

Its going to be very cliche, but id honestly have to say that my favorite WWII game is not on this voting list. Call of Duty: World at War. That was by far one of the best CoDs, (Obviously being anything after CoD 4, simply because classic CoD has always been, and always will be the best) but thats just my opinion. I am not saying that any of these games are bad, just not my favorite. The only one I did not like was Medal of Honor to be completely honest.

I guess I'd go with Call of Duty 2 although I'm not really into the WWII games except for the fictional ones like Wolfenstein and Singularity.

For RTS: Company of Heroes

for Multiplayer: Red Orchestra 2

For Singleplayer: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

I played The New Order and loved it. Plan on getting The Old Blood sometime.

Yea that one was cool, I loved how you could do splitscreen co-op for the entire campaign. Pacific Assault and Frontlines were also really good.

Wolfenstein. What's not to like about mecha Hitler, Nazi black magic and objective-based multiplayer?

The Red Orchestra, series a very constant series and one of the lack true tactical shooters around.

Rising Storm 2 (which movies to Vietnam) looks like it will be a blast.

Medal of Honor (should be Honour!): Allied Assault is probably my favourite campaign.

Wolfenstein. The New Order and The Old Blood are absolutely amazing. I enjoy the older games as well.

The return to caslte Wolfenstein was epic:).. There has been too long since any good WWII fps.

Shooters only? I would go with CoD. The very first one. Overall my fav WWII game is HoI2.

Frankly, given how small a team Tripwire, including a tiny budget compared to a mega company such as EA, it's pretty darn amazing the level of immersion they managed to pull off. Not to spout hyperbole, but it is probably one of the most immersive FPS I have played, definitely the most immersive ww2 title.

@uninspiredcup: I understand about the scope maybe being too much for a small dev like that, but to me mp is like an add on/bonus and something that could never take the place of a regular game.

If RO had proper campaigns, I'd be all over it, but just being MP only, I wouldn't even think of getting it.
