Calendar Help! Post game replacements

I'd like to fill out the calendar all the way up to end of October.

Here are my suggestions based on the game suggestion thread or staff recommendations. 

July27 (this week already set): Free Realms mini games (PC)

Blue text dates need your votes in this thread. 

September 1: Dawn of War (PC)
September 8: Metal Gear Solid 4 or Warhawk (PS3) - continue to vote in this thread!
September 15: Call of Duty World at War (Wii)
September 22: Ghostbusters (X360)
September 29: Battlefield Heroes (PC)

October 6: Halo ODST (X360) 
October 13:TMNT: Smash Up (Wii)
October 20: Uncharted 2 (PS3)
October 27: Might be cancelled for Halloween week.  

Before I enter these into the Steam schedule, please make further game suggestion replacements if you think the community is no longer active with these games. For instance, instead of Resistance 2, maybe a cool game is being released. Check the future release dates to find some better replacements!

Aug 18-  Gears of War 2 (Dark Corners DLC).         I dont think a lot of people play exitebots and a lot of people have been wanting a Gears 2 game night, the Dark Corners will be out for 2 weeks by aug 18.

Sept 29-  Halo ODST.     GTA IV would fun but by Sept 29 Halo ODST will be out for a week and will probably be very poplular on live.

Oct 6- Battlefield 1943 (PC).      A lot of people said that they would of done the Battlefield 1943 if it was out on PC and said they hope we would do one (pc). Moved PS3 exclusive game to end of month.

Oct 13- [Insert good Wii multiplayer game here].      Couldnt really think of a good wii game but we shouldnt do another WAW on Wii. SSBB maybe?

Oct 20- Uncharted 2.                 Uncharted 2 will be out for a week by Oct 20. No doubt it will be a very popular game.

ehsan8888: Apologies, I didnt see the II next to the game suggestion thread, but I recall a GS editor recommending DoW2; we'll go with that one. 

RealKilla_789: Thanks for the recommendations. I switched around the platform rotation a bit to put in your suggestions and fixed some of the public Wii games in one of the months.

No problem. And thanks for the promotion. But i have a fix on the scheduele. You put Uncharted for Oct 6. I dont know if you meant Uncharted 1 or 2. But Uncharted 2 comes out oct 13. And Uncharted 1 doesnt have multiplayer after doing some research. Maybe Uncharted can switched with Halo ODST?

I would like to make a suggestion. Why not replace a dedicated PS3 game night with Warhawk? The game is still very popular and it as a very active community.

Warhawk instead of Metal Gear Solid 4 perhaps?

Updated a bit more with further suggestions. 

Realized we are playing PC tomorrow and the following week so excitebots is next week!

I would say MGS4 over Warhawk ... but I really don't know because I have never played either (never done MGO).

For the Wii ... uhh ... Tetris Party? It supports 8 players at once I believe just like Bomberman, and I don't think there has EVER been a Tetris game night ...

thanks for putting the time in to make a schedule so we can plan accordingly, its a big help. :)

I don't mean to sound like a drag, but there aren't many games on the schedule that really grab me.

I'll probably show up for Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Gears 2 and maybe Halo ODST. I just returned Excitebots to gamefly :x

Call of Duty WaW for x360, or Killzone 2 would have been fun, a lot of people have them.

when you do the Wii game nights are you going to use skype to keep in touch during the games?

and as far as Wii suggestions, why not just do Mario Kart or SSBB? I know you like to do games that haven't been done before, but these are the best mp games on the Wii imo.

I would love to play Quake live on August 18!  It's browser based isn't it?

I didn't play the beta, but I've read that it is supposed to have multiplayer for 32 people, two teams of 16 players.

I updated the Fat Princess game night because staff said there will be a patch update that helps with the multiplayer side of things. 

The Steam schedule has been updated for the next few months. Closing this thread for the time being. Please use the suggestion sticky thread for more ideas.
