Your favourite action game of this and the last generation?

I am kinda curious.

I always loved those Capcom 2D fighting fames.

So for last generation I'd say Guilty Gear, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Street Fighter 3rd Strike. and for this gen I'd say their sequels

If we're talking about fighting games, then my favorite from last generation is Guilty Gear XX (and its many sequels) on the PS2, while my personal favorite for the current generation is stillStreet Fighter IV (though I'm having a lot of fun with Skullgirls).
