It can be a website, a person, a magazine, etc.

I was introduced to Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation not too long ago and I have to say he's the best...in my opinion. He's a cold-hearted ******* but he does it while also being absolutely hilarious and CORRECT! It's very hard to get praise from him, which just makes games that do even more amazing.

I watch Yahtzee's reviews, but not for their relevance. I don't agree with a lot of his criticisms, an he seems overly critical for the sake of being critical.

I have to say Gamespot. The biggest reason why I became a member here is because of how hard Gamespot reviews were at the time.

GameTrailers!!! the best!

X-Play reviews for short and summarised.

Vide reviews are better than written reviews. (it doesn't mean I don't like reading)

He's a critic. He's there to point out problems with the game, and he does.

i dont tend to trust a single reviewer ever. i like yatzee's reviews because they are funny but i would never take him seriously ever when it comes to any game review if i did the only games i would own would be psychonaughts, crysis or theif lol.

I guess that I believe that critics also need to highlight the good portions of a game. Yes, all games have problems, but many don't display the good in the games as much as they do the bad.

Greg Kasavin.(Gamespot) Even though he completely effed up the MGS4 review 'score', I almost always agreed with him and it was fun to watch him passionately talk about games.

Brad Shoemaker (Another ex GS editor who is now with Giant Bomb.) Now here's another guy I almost always agree with. Never thought I would list him as one of my favorites, but when I think about it, I never really disagreed with his reviews.

Kevin Vanvord (sp?) He gave MGS4 a 10.

It's not like I have a hard on for all GS/ex-GS editors, I almost never agreed with Jeff and Ryan. But i still admire their passion for games.

I dont care much about the reviewers working for other sites. I've always been a GS guy. :)

It was, and always will be Charlie Brooker. He doesn't review games anymore, but he was the guy who invented humorous games reviews. He would throw in so much irrelevent humor, and often compare his games to real life metaphors. Some of his work was so profane it caused the magazine he wrote for to be pulled from the shelves.

His reviews were absolutely hilarious.

I like IGN as well. They tend to go easy on big name games but truthfully so do I so I almost always agree with them.

Well i liked games that were given a bad review, and i hated games that were given a good review.

As for Gamespot.com, i just look at the official rating given by gamespot themself. The reviews given by other members on this site are very very often much more than ridiculous. There were Reviews for some of my personal all-time favorite games with a score like 2.0
