Don't have a top ten, or better phrase can't without being dishonest. Too many games to consider and many I enjoy are of peek quality a developer can deliver within the factors of refinement, fun, and pacing.

Dragon's Crown, Monster Hunter: World, The Evil Within 2, Dark Souls III, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Divinity: Original Sin II and Resident Evil 2 Remake, are certainly newer games I would call some of my favorites from recent memory, that is the best I can do for the thread. With Devil May Cry 5 very possibly joining that list.

hmm. . Two games I've hyped for years are considered 2019 masterpieces (Resi2Remake, DMC5)

Also called Demon's Blazon, and read in Europe released as Gargoyle's Quest III.

I like the game, it just suffers from framerate issues in its traditional state, also highly repetitive for progression. It is good game though.

I'm just gonna take a load of games from my Steam list and be that guy that just does whatever he wants all over your post. :p

• Portal games for being kind of thin on content.
• Planescape: Torment because I haven't played it yet and didn't realise it was even in there.
• Left 4 Dead for not really being innovative although a game 'director' and unfathomable health system make it good still.
