Yakuza 8 already in development according to 15th anniversary livestream.

What do you guys wish to see in the next Yakuza game. Do you prefer the new turn based RPG mechanics or would you rather see the old brawler style used in the previous games?

Yeah well its almost a yearly franchise in japan it is pretty much expected. Do hope we get to see Judgement/Judge Eyes sequel someday though.

I would prefer a brawler I think it suits the series better.

Yea, they should've kept the RPG as a spinoff series.

@Starshine_M2A2: If I was to combine all movieclips from Yakuza 7 into one video it would probably be better than anything I have seen from Hollywood in 2020, LOL.

@sakaixx: Judgement was amazing. Too bad I such at Mahjong and could not get 100% for that reason.

@robbie23: me too. I 80% some of yakuza games (replayed the game at their hardest difficulty) but then mahjong appeared and I said nope. Too bad too as both Yakuza 6 and Judgement trophies requirement is fairly easy but I just dont understand mahjong.

I’m on the final chapter of Yakuza: Like a Dragon and I absolutely love this game. I would certainly not be opposed to another turned-based RPG style game myself.

I would like Judgement 2.

Really?! It feels like this came really fast. I have yet to play 7 as I need to play Kiwami 2 and continue on until I get to 7, so I can't really say what I prefer.

@sakaixx: I'm a little surprised they haven't done much with Judgment yet. I am hoping they expand and try another anime series like they did with Fist of the North Star. I would really like to see a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game as I feel that series would do well with a more brawler/beat em' up style.

As long as it is not shitty turn based crap, believe that one sucked sales wise, wonder why.

@sakaixx: The easiest way to win is to get three matches in sequence order and 2 pairs, however the RNG of getting those tiles is quite difficult. I managed to do it for the Yakuza 3 trophy after a billion tries.

@Archangel3371: Let us know when you beat it and your opinion of the ending. The boss fights towards in the last couple of chapters are quite difficult. The difficulty curve rises significantly towards the end.

@robbie23: Yeah that’s really my only gripe with the game right now. I already ran into a couple of bosses where the difficulty spiked way too much.

I've just finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon the other day, I didn't mind the new RPG gameplay mechanic for it. I would still prefer a sequel to Judgement overall

Gotta get through them all so not in hurry.

Only if it's a brawler. DOn't care about JRPG crap.
