xbox backward compatibility 007 Nightfire works half the time

I was wondering if it was my disc or the emulator that had problems because the disc is clean as a mirror. The game plays just fine in multiplayer and i can play the 2 first levels of the campaing but when i reach Alpine escape ( the rail snowmobile level ) the mission can't load. I tried skipping the the next level using cheat codes but the same thing happens...

Does anyone else have the same problem while playing this on their 360 or did I buy a broken game??

The missions where you have complete control over the vehicle do not work, to get past them, just use a cheat.GulliversTravel

well the paris prelude tutorial level worked just fine and you can control the aston martin. Plus, in alpine escape, you dont have complete control over the snowmobile. You can only shoot the turret.

Are you sure about this? Because if all versions of Nightfire are like this, I won't bring it back at gamestop but if it's just mine.....

It seems the prologue level only works the first time you can play it (when you don't have full controls over your actions) if i try to replay it, it doesn't load.

BUT, the s.u.v. level works just fine so it's weird...

oh it just crashed on me mid-level....

rest of the game seems to work fine just like you said but it's really pissing me off that i can't play some of the levels. The first four missions as a whole was my favorite part ofthe game....

Xbox compatibility sucks. It says it works, but doesn't for 1/3rd of the games. I just got an old xbox because I was tired of it.

yeah it was pretty cool but Nightfire was my favorite of the 3! (Agent under fire, Nightfire, Everything or nothing) You really feel like james bond with the stealth parts, cars and gadgets ;) Also I loved the idea of having an original story for each game! It's way better than ripping off a movie

I guess thats what I should do.... there are a couple of games that aren't BC that I would love to get (again...) like Timesplitters 2, Mafia, Deus ex invisible war...

yeah i loved the motorcycle mission in witch you had to follow a tanker ;)

I agree that EoN was good, it's just that since I only rented that game, I didn't get to play it that much. Also, I usualy prefer FPS over TPS. But I really liked the return of Jaws ;) and Willem Dafoe as the bad guy!

Another thing that I thought was cool in those two was the introductions! Started with the gun barrel, than an action scene and then an awesome James Bond song with the credits! Just like in a movie! No other Bond game has done that.
