Worst and best movie based games?

So, lots of movies eventually have a game released (most of them.. are not that good)

What are your experience with movie based games?

Well, I'd say that Mortal Kombat movies were bad oh and Street Fighter with Van Damme. God that was awful.--T-Virus--

The LOTR games were pretty good, yeah :D

Worst-Spiderman 3 on Wii, urrggh that was terrible, and also most of those games based on kids films, especially the older ones, I had Tarzan on PS1, that sucked, also 99% of movie games on the NES, played Terminator at a friends house...dear God that was painful to play.

Best-Chronicles of Riddick, LoTR Two Towers, King Kong and the Simpons Movie game was actually quite good, if just for the story.

Best = Goldeneye 007 on N64

Yeah I agree. I wish they would make a new Rambo video game, I like the movies. They did make one, but it was for the NES. I'd like to see one with today's graphics. However, it probably wouldn't be much better than the Rocky video game for the Gamecube :( .

In all honesty, I thought Wallace and Gromit: Curse of The Rabbit was a pretty fun game. There were lot's to do and it was very enjoyable, at times it was pretty funny, and co-op wasn't handled so bad either but splitscreen would have been better.

Worst? Well I'm not sure, I honestly thought most movie games were terrible but some of them aren't all that bad after all.

There's quite a few games that were based on movies that I liked and enjoyed.

The best I have played are:

• Terminator 3: Redemption (PS2, Xbox, GC)
• Terminator 2: Judgement Day (NES)
• From Russia With Love (PS2m Xbox, GC)
• Delta Force: Black Hawk Down (PC only, console versions sucked)
• Goldeneye 64 (N64)
• Die Hard Trilogy (PC, PS1)

The worst I have played are:

• Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines (PS2, Xbox)
• Terminator 3: War of The Machines (PC)
• Bad Boys 2 (PC, PS2, Xbox, GC)

There's alot more but I just can't remember them all but either way, I don't think I want to remember bad horrid videogames anyways.

Best games based movie: Silent Hill

Worst: Dead or Alive

Best movie based game: KOTOR, LotR:Battle for Middle-Earth

Worst: Probably ET.

The Star Wars games for the SNES were some of the best movie based games for their time.staindcoldlp

Ah yes, those were pretty awesome. I remember getting all three for one Christmas.

No one has mentioned Disney games on the SNES? *sigh* Anyways, here are mine:

Best: Aladdin (SNES), Aladdin (GEN), The Lion King (SNES/Gen), The Junglebook (SNES/GEN), 007 Goldeneye (N64)

Worst: ET (Atari 2600), Almost everything after PS1/N64

(the Aladdin games were very different for each system, so I listed them seperately).

The gameboy versions were actually decent, Atari one was terrible.

Yes,I played the one in the Atari and one in the PSX and both games suck.

Two that i like playing the most are the Godfather and the Warriors on xbox.

The best movie based games I have played was The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and Return of the King for PS2.

The worst I would say is Stargate for the SNES.

e.t. is the worst video game based on a movie, some of the worst movies based on a video game are street fighter,mortal kombat 2, and mario brothers.

I like a few of the movie based games I don't really have a favorite the two lord of the rings were great but are simlliar to other movie games I like.
