Who was selected for Evolve's alpha and how stoked are you?

I've just been selected and I'm mega stoked! Alpha begins tomorrow and ends on Sunday. It's on the Xbone first, I believe, so the above dates apply for the Xbone.

I'm very stoked as I love Turtle Rock studio, I loved Left 4 Dead, especially the original and I believe Evolve will mop the floor with Destiny.

I will for sure write about my impressions here.

Does invites from last alpha get you into this one?

I'm not sure...The codes were 50/50 chances, and the only other ones who have it guaranteed are the ones who preordered the game.

I got it... got a message on my One the other day asking me to submit a request. Got accepted the next day or so later. I thought everyone who filled out the request got in. Either way, it becomes available tomorrow, and I will surely play it, but I worry it won't be much fun without 3 or 4 real world friends.

I don't have time for Alphas and Betas with so many other gems from yesteryear to complete. I usually give them away when I win them.

I normally wouldn't be so happy but in this case I am, I'd also loved Fable Legends beta, but I got dumped.

I'm looking forward to playing Evolve in it's final form, but in the meantime I'm tackling my backlog left and right.

Sorry Fable broke your heart, but I heard she's a slut for $$$, so you can just buy her later on. :)

Eh, I was hoping for the Fable Legends Beta, I'll try Evolve out if it hits open beta though.

So many co-op shooters coming out next year: Evolve, The Division, Killing Floor, ...

I was really excited for Evolve, but I can't get and focus on all of them, so I'll have to make choices.

I got in as well, and I'm super stoked, not just because I am a massive L4D2 fan, but I just think the premise of the game is great. I tried to play now but apparently it is locked until Oct. 30th......hoepefully it won't disappoint, but this is an Alpha so don't be surprised if some things don't go smoothly

I got one this morning, downloading now while I'm at work. I love alpha's and beta's, free game for a little while is always good.

I pre-ordered and filled out the stuff at the site but hqdn't gotten my e-mail yet before I hit work. Mega pissed wbout the dumbass XBone first shit as I have tomorrow off but work on Halloween. Why they did that is beyond me...

Got an Evolve code today for being part of the xboner early access program. Tried really hard to give a ****...but failed miserably.

Too short of a time for me to be able to enjoy it. I want to play it but again, not much time given to play it.

I am just glad the Halo 5 beta coincides with winter break, so I can play it because I just got a 99% assurance that my brother and sister in law got me MCC because I bought Disney Infinity Marvel for my nephew. I was a chosen, I have the game installed and ready to go. I have an extra Code for the next person who responds to me.

I was .. I must have signed up twice as I got two codes in my email

I gave one of those away.. then when I got home I went on the XB1 and noticed a message there.. because I Beta test the new XB1 dashboard features, they automatically included me in the Evolve Alpha.. I still have that code.. if someone wants it let me know here.. first one to respond gets it (hopefully the code is not linked automatically to my account)

And just then I got email for it. Sadly I'm going to be at a game convention on the weekend so I hope it won't be finished once I get back.

I got a code today and will definitely give it a spin once I get from work tomorrow.

I was in the previous Evolve alpha, and I just got an email saying that I've been selected for this Big Alpha. Fun game, I enjoyed it.

Finally got my code! Very relieved now. Still pissed I can't play it tomorrow...

I was sent a code at around 9am and only just noticed it.. The xbone does not tell me in the notifications when i get new message. I'll start downloading the beta now.

I'm in the PC beta. I also have two extra codes that unlock on Steam. PM me and I'll send them out to you.

Got invited for the PC beta. I'll plug my code in later today. I'm intrigued by the game like I was with Titanfall (which I still think is awesome). Hopefully this whole monster thing works out as well as I hope. It sounds like a lot of fun.

@Salt_The_Fries: nah I'm a student. Using my GI bill to get a degree.

I'm actually more concerned with the human part. I don't want to end up getting bored because playing as a Hunter is your run of the mill FPS.

Well first impressions are not very good. First off I'm playing the alpha version on the xbone. The gameplay in the game is solid, guns feel good, and are fun to use. You have a good set of characters, and class variety. Depending on what class/character you pick the load out you get will be different, you also pick 1 perk before each match, like jump 20% higher or faster recovery for jet pack usage. My problem with the game is that there is little to do in these levels, for half of the round you are just searching for the monster, once you find him he is relatively easy to kill. I felt if the monster had 2 hunters with him he would stand a chance. In the 5 rounds that I played our team won easily. Also the graphics and frame rate in the game are not good, graphically the game doesn't look anything special, so I dont see why its running at 30 FPS.
