My rare/rare-ish gems are, Shadowrun, Chrono Trigger and Tactics Ogre for SNES. Xenogears, Vandal Hearts, Carnage Heart, Suikoden 2, Lunar SSS and EB for ps1. Christmas Nights, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Panzer Dragoon Saga for Saturn. Ikaruga, Sword of the Berserk, VO:OT with twin sticks and Last blade 2 port for DC. Steel Batalion for xbox. Ico and Kojima signed ZOE and 2nd Runner for PS2.eNT1TY

Since you all probably have some large collections, I was wondering if any of you have seen the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance which has a "mini hint guide included". It's the first time I've seen it, just wondering if it's limited - did it come out first or after the regular versions?

I don't really have much, but the most rare ones I have:

Boxed NES action set with Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros. as seen here

Battle Toads for the NES in mint condition, boxed and all, as seen here

Castlevania for the NES, boxed, with some wear and tear, as seen here

(I also have many other NES games but they are all unboxed, such as Zelda 1 and 2 etc)

I also have The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker with the Master Quest collector's edition, as seen here

That's all I can think of for now, I have many other games for the SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Gameboy's and DS', and I also have many games for old Sega's and Atari's too. Can't be bother looking through them all though.

My copy of Metal Slug X and In The Hunt for my PS1 and Pazar Dragoon Orta are pretty rare.

I don't know how you find out if a game is rare as online pricing is pretty much set by crazy people. Can you call it rare if at any point in the last however many years you could always find dozens of copies of the game selling on ebay, half, amazon, etc?

Dragonball Final Bout for PS1. The one from 1997 that was published by Bandai not the reissue from 2004 that was published by Atari. Only 10,000 copies were released in the US.

Without a doubt, I'd have to say the rarest and most valuable game in my collection would be Spider-Man: Web of Fire for the Sega 32X...

I just bought a Tiger Electronics knock-off from '87 for only few $. I looked at the Game & Watches first, though, and the cheapest ones that worked started at like $40 plus shipping. Insane price for something that's as simple as a single LCD based game!Emerald_Warrior

And you should see how much the older and more rarer ones cost. Personally I think they are great collectibles, but they're not my thing really.

Another worthy mention of a rare game I have is TLoZ:OoT Collectors Edition PAL, I can never find the thing on uk ebay so I had to import it from australia, which over there it isn't as rare.

And my Super Metroid, love this game, box is a bit tatty rest is great, love to open this from time to time and play it again.

Ocarina of Time: Master Quest and Zelda Collectors Edition for Gamecube

Probably PS2 Monster Hunter1 or Wii Manhunt2. Around these parts anyway.

Possibly my star ocean 2 for PS1, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7, (all PS1) and my tomb raider, and Zelda: A link to the past for Snes. I just know some of these you can't find anymore or so I hear, so I guess they are rare.BurstEther

Maybe my copy of GTA San Andreas from launch-day - the one that had that "other" content included.

Other than that, I guess it depends on your definition of rare - old games can be called rare since they aren't available at major retail stores anymore.

Edit: Also maybe my copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Sega Dreamcast, though at one time I had Power Stone 2.

I have both LoZ Collectors Edition Gamecube discs, but the one with both NES games isn't in it's box since I got it with a preowned copy of MarioKart. Besides that, the only really rare game I can think of that I own is Kula World for PS1.

Somewhere in my house I have a disc copy of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for PS2. Apparently those are sort of rare
