What's the one game that you keep going back to when you have nothing else to play?

Like the topic says what game do you always find yourself reinstalling when you have no new games to play. For me there's quite a few I go back to but as far as newer titles I would say GTAV on PC. I just love how good this game feels it's very well optimized and the open world is gorgeous the, gameplay, characters, and music I all really enjoy. So what's your game that you go back to this gen the most?

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online usually. :)

Usually the latest Forza game.

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth.

The Arkham series. I've played through all games 3-4 times already. They are just so cool.

Skate 3 has always been the 1 game I can play no matter what my mood is. Lately Forza Horizon 4 has been my go to, there is always just so much fun to be had, and only starting to experience the online play and is so much, there was a Forza Event and just 12 people showed up in the red zone and we all randomly parked our cars in perfect line....its such a social event to play, and hundreds of ways to amuse yourself.

Pokemon Go :D Literally. I play it everyday whenever I go outside. It still gives me sentiments :)

Maybe you don't believe me, but I love playing Chu Chu Rocket at any break. It's simply as funny as stupid. And, seriously, I do play Mario Kart 8 anytime I can.

I don't have this problem you speak of.

GTAIV, Skyrim and Oblivion are the ones I start playing again when there arent any new games to play. Those three never get old.

Original Titanfall on Xbox One. It’s been my go to game this entire generation and I never tire of it. I enjoy playing Capture the Flag or Hardpoint.

Usually a Sonic or Mega Man game.

Nethack

Mega drive collection.

Fallout 3, NV and 4 or Dragon Age: Origins.

I have a few so it would beat the purpose, considering you're asking for "one" and that doesn't exist to the way I play games.

Genre-wise they're all dependent on my mood. If I really liked the game? Chances are I'll replay, sometimes a lot.

I've beaten Devil May Cry 3 for example, exactly 43 times across three platforms. It's one of the few I've kept track playthroughs and difficulty modes for each.

Fallout New Vegas and 4 come to mind.

Gotta be Skyrim.

The Last of Us multiplayer. Seriously, it has been my go-to game ever since I bought my PS4 4 years ago. It's the only PS4 game I have digitally. Very convenient.

Ussally Musou games or Fighting games. Right now it is Senran Kagura Estival Versus, Samurai Warriors 4, DB FigherZ and DOA Last Round. In the past it was Sengoku Basara 4, Soul Calibur 5 and Persona 4 Arena.

I rarely run out of games to play.. still on Witcher 3....

Resident Evil 3. Just something about it.

I will never run out of things to do in Skyrim. I doubt I'll ever beat that game. I also love to play Attack on Titan on my Vita when I have a few free minutes. It's really fun to pick up and play real quick and it also reminds me that I need to finish the damn show at some point lol

Sims 3. It's basically one unending time sink :P

I will never ever have nothing else to play with the amount of games coming out...

...but I keep going back to Dark Souls anyway....

This is as far away from my situation as it could possibly be. My backlog at this point is over 1000. I'm having a hard time to decide what to play next (or rather what NOT to play next). I never ever had "nothing else" to play

When I was younger it was games like GoldenEye 007 and Super Mario 64, but things have changed to the point where this is rarely a problem. I did fill time with Civilization VI at the beginning of the year, though.

I literally never have remotely close to that problem. I saw that post 2013 only because sense 2013 I have more games I am excited about playing then I can wrap my head around. in fact a few out there I want to play but have not bought because time does not exist in the universe to get to them.

I gaming now is my full time job.

@cathalk: During prime time there’s usually about a thousand online with most modes available. I just checked and presently (10:16 am EST) there’s 195 people playing Attrition, Campaign, and Frontier Defense.

Stardew Valley for me.

Usually a Doom style FPS is good for short bursts

Duke3d, Blood, Shadow Warrior etc....

The Arkham games. The combat immediately hooks me in.

Currently Dead Cells... sucks you in for just one more run!

Uncharted Series. When I have nothing else to play I turn to them and do speedruns of the chapters.

I can always go back to the Crash Bandicoot games
