What was the last game you “ragequit” over?

Could either be a game you ended up defeating or stopped playing outright.

I myself don’t rage quit much these days. The last time I was close would have been the 100 jump rope challenge in Mario Odyssey. I was using the join cons at first which are very clicky...when I switched to the pro controller...smooth as butter.

It is so awful that I stopped playing it.

Never raged quitted a game I'm glad to say. However did recently stop playing the Remake of Shadow of the Colossus, came to the realisation it wasn't fun, got up to the fifth Colossi (winged creature). Looked at my disc on a fresh day, and decided to move onto a different game. So less ragequit and more breaking-point_

I tried the original and thought it was pretty clunky, jump was weird/ floaty, and climbing was tedious. While many said it was improved in the remake I highly disagree. It's probably has more changes/ improvements than I give credit; however looking better doesn't fix the bigger problem for me.

On paper I should like SotC, it's a clever thought-out boss rush game, with interesting puzzles. But it's mechanically flawed, thus not very enjoyable.

Team Ico make some clever games, yet they always play bad.

The game was just so damn awful, I lost my shit after what I experience. Couldn't even pass the first stage cause it was awful.

Manhunt the level called wrong side of the tracks.

@speeny: Haha I rage quit Odyssey at the stupid jump rope challenge too and have yet to go back. I am planning on returning to it, I've just been having fun with other non jump rope related games.

@branoway: Switch to the pro controller if you haven’t already! Makes life a lot easier my friend.

It's so frustrating to the point I had to uninstall it, loved the first one though.

Rogue galaxy. Loved it on ps2, bought it again on ps4..... got killed in the tutorial fight and saw the game over screen. I quitted the game, cried a bit. I am fucking shamed at myself

Between the hidious graphics, low frame rate which the dev never bothered to fix on fucking ps4, 4:3 ratio, I think modern game hand holding has destroyed my ability to withstand old game designs.

The last game that I rage quit over was sacred stone. Do you know like normal games they have unbeatable bosses in the end of the level? This game is full of this kind of bosses and it's a platforming game which makes it even hard :(

I don't know if I've ever rage-quit by normal definition. But I know I quit Dante's Inferno, not out of rage exactly, but out of disdain for how bad it is.

i remember one mission I finally beat after like a million tries, and at the end you need to go back to the exit after 'finishing' everything. when returning to the exit my guy got stuck in a door or something so I couldn't finish the mission to save progress, I rage quit, uninstalled and never went back.

I've never ragequit any game. I guess it's something kids do these days ;)

League of Legends as i can't quite understand where the game is going, i didn't give it good time learning through changes past 3 seasons i have fallen off.

I believe there are lots who would share the same experience. btw i've never RQ'd over 7 years, lately peple have been losing over the game and constantly arguing in chats. I play arams now because of that, to keep the game at least fun

@kenlog: A mate of mine tried getting me into League of Legends. It didn't appeal to me unfortunately. I did like Hearthstone though.

@speeny: That's the one game i would never repeat going into.. I mean, League. Hearthstone was awesome, i played on beta, then they released new decks over time.

The problem with league is that you clearly are losing the game, and people just drag the game and it gets 30+ min for no reason. In Hearthstone anything can happen, and games at least are short. Can't image why would i RQ in this seemingly chill game :D You have a point. MMORPGs and single players have the lowest chances of ragequitting i believe, should just stick to these :c

I tend to laugh if a game is being particularly frustrating.

I remembered that I raged quit over CSGO yesterday because there was a guy literally infront of me and I had like 5 secs to kills him. But I didn't even land one shot before I died :(

The very first Driver had a completely ridiculous final mission that caused me to pop the game out of the PS and snap it in half....

Dark souls 3, which part it happend frequently during my play through

It was hard but I managed to beat it.(Maybe it had to do with this that I played the PC version and put the car density option to maximum)

The only problem I had with it was this that it was somehow buggy.(Some missions where you can choose your car would bring me into the hotel room instead of mission for some reason)

We happy few. Completely bug ridden game annoyed the hell out of me. Sucked the fun out of everything.

Nioh. I tried the demo, knowing what I was in for, and nearly broke my PS4 controller. A shame, because I like the Japanese setting. I don't care for souls clones, hahaha.
