what system did COD4 sell most on?

what system did COD4 sell most on? I play it on the PC with a group of friends twice a week. I just wondered if more people out there play it on an xbox or ps3. I would rather a mouse then a joystick for fps so I went with the PC

I'm thinking it was probably the 360, PS3 then PC. I agree though, playing on PC is more fun.. But it's a lot easier to be dominant on PC.

Yeah I think PS3 outsold PC. I could be wrong but I remember Gamespot having a thing on the front page about how COD 4 had reached 11 million in retail sales and I think PC only had 1 or 2 million. That wouldn't count digital downloads though. 360>PS3>PC in sales.

I waould have guessed 360 as well, don't know about the rabid Halo fans that might not enjoy it though. Seriously, I know tons of dudes who hate CoD and love Halo, on PS3 it sort of "compliments" games like Killzone 2 (which kind of is like suped up, graphically advanced future Call of Duty... kind of).

The 360 reached 7 million in sales, the ps3 3 million and the pc was under 2 million

It really bugs me that the 360 version sells more than the pc. Call of Duty was born on the PC and you'd think that it would stay a pc dominate game.. but no.. of course the consoles gotta take over.. whatever as a pc gamer im used to this kind news.. just gotta learn how to numb out the pain..
