Hi All. I am looking to get an isometric RPG, but I am a beginner at this type. Which would you recommend:

Wasteland 2

Divinity Original Sin

Pillars of Eternitiy

Other

I have PC, Xbox One, PS4, so can be for any of those.

Thanks

I think I answered my own question. I think I will go with Divinity. It looks like most isometric RPGs are not for beginners, but that you just have to fight through the learning curve. With that said, Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition is the only one with voice acting. If I wanted to read I would pull out a book :). Actually, reading isn't that big of a deal except I like to play games without my glasses, and no glasses is fine for most things when gaming, but not so much for text.

Yeah,Divinity seems to be the best choice for begginers, though Pillars of Eternity is also fantastic and has much better story, characters and especially writting. Shadowrun(especially Dragonfall) is also a great introduction to the genre, perhaps the simplest of them all gameplay wise.

Keep an eye out for the incoming Torment: Tides of Numenera.

I'm no CRPG hardcore but I'd say Divinity OS EE. I hate that oversaturated text as well, it's like reading a book rather than playing a game. Not to mention my eyes sometimes hurt.

Pillars of Eternity. I found it much easier than Divinity to get into.

Of those Divinity as it's combat heavy like Icewind Dale. Pillars has much reading and could come across as overwelming or boring.

In general though, Dragon Age is a good starting point imo.
