After playing all the Batman Arkham games I finally got all the Riddler trophies in Arkham Knight and beat the Riddler. It took a long time and a lot of patience, but it was so satisfying to finally shut that smug Riddler up. This is probably one of my proudest moments in a single player game.

What about you?

Finally getting good enough to get trough the Batman Arkham games on hard. I struggled a lot with it, but it finally clicked. That's why I hated the tank battles so much in Arkham Knight. After finally getting to grips with the combat system in the Arkham games and was proudly playing on hard I had to resort to easy because of those damn tanks. The Tank Battles were a chaotic mess that didn't belong in a Batman game.

@heljar: I played it on normal and never really had much trouble with the combat, but definitely didn't master it either. When I tried those challenges I realized how much I still needed to improve. Some of the Riddler races were annoying for me, but I didn't mind the tank battles since I was pretty good at them. That being said I understand that it didn't make you feel as much like Batman as someone playing a minigame.

Probably when I beat The Witcher 3. It wasn't particularly difficult, just time consuming. That's why it took over a year because it honestly took a lot. I quit for over a year then was kind of lost so I just started all over. When I finally beat it I definitely felt a sense of accomplishment, though.

Proud probably isn't the word but beating Akumu mode on The Evil Within was something I was starting to give up on. Very challenging. And yet I went back and did it again straight after. However first run was what gave me the higher sense of accomplishment. It really felt like I cracked it in the end and just saw the code lol.

Games like Fam Ghost n' Goblins and CastleVania III, with random spawns/ respawns and off screen attacks. . I get no good feeling at the end. Just feels like I lucked out, like banging your head against the wall till someone is kind enough to move your head against a pillow.

Probably beating Streets of Rage 2 on mania difficulty for the first time. It kind of cemented for me that I'm really good at my favorite game and series.

A much more recent one was getting all of the achievements on both MMX collections, so that includes X6 and X7.

@RSM-HQ: I've only played a little bloodborne, but isn't it primarily a single player game?

Really interesting responses! One other moment I thought I'd mention is beating some of the tough levels of Battletoads, especially the hover board section. Although I don't think I ever beat the whole game.
