What game would you like to see as a film?

Who would star in it? Big budget or art house film? What camera angles would you use? Over the shoulder? Close ups? First person? What would be the theme song? Would it be a comedy, dramadie, slasher flick, witch story? And tell us anything else we'd find interesting, plz.

Outsourced adoptions are usually awful.

Typically don't watch movies, hear and read majority of video games don't transition well as a show or movie. With that stated I didn't mind Silent Hill (first movie) or CastleVania.

It's not as simple as the average view thinks.

For me it's less what franchise and more does the direction of reimagining a franchise do the original source material justice. Monster Hunter has terrible outsourcing, insultingly so_

I've always thought Psychonauts would make a good 3D animated movie.

It's actually good. Best movie based on a game that I've seen.

Always wanted to see Nights into Dreams CGI animation style getting its own film adaption as Sonic (soon to be Mario) movie proves with great people who knows what they are doing, you can guarantee a Nights movie could work.

Bioforge, Crysis, and Metal Gear.

Nothing in particular. Though I think like 99.9% of the time, animation is a better fit for games. For a whole slew of reasons. And with that, think more games would benefit from a series than a movie.

Over the years seen so many people wish for a live action MGS movie. Could it work, yeah sure. But you'd have to condense so much of it. And I don't think a lot of its weirder aspects would translate well to live action anyways, so probably cut those. Probably end up feeling like a surface level take on its obvious inspirations, rather than the unique culmination that MGS ended up being.

MGS is already like viewing world governments and the military industrial complex through an anime funhouse mirror. Might as well be an anime series.
