What game has caused you...

the most physical and/or mental pain in your span as a gamer... i'm talking about actual PAIN, pain not stress pain... i.e. blisters, eye problems, carpel tunnel, paranoia, siezures... y'know stuff like that... I'm asking for a pure info gathering standpoint and to set the tone i'll go first:

KOF 2006 - has caused me more blisters on my thumbs than a kung-fu fight with a rose bush

Resident Evil 2 - has caused me to have misgivings of sight (seeing stuff), and nightmares

Zombies Ate My Neighbors - made my eyes water due to the fact that i didn't allow myself to blink while playing

... those are just a few of the ones i can actually remember... but i thought it would be interesting to ask a wider audience than just my circle of friends who share many of the same game related afflictions as me... so please do share watcha got...

Eye strain from Touhou.

Sleep deprivation from Everquest.

Frustrated rage from Diablo 2.

Soul shattering emotional anguish from Tsukihime.

Skin irriation due to excessive fapping from Yume Miru Kusuri.

Various cuts and bruises from trying to skateboard after playing Tony Hawk.

Eye strain from Touhou.

Sleep deprivation from Everquest.

Yea me too. I usually lost the top skin layer on my thumb because of Tony hawk pro skater. I went X square triangle in less than half a second. I had to stop playing like for a month until sking grew back. Oh and once i got so pissed at not being able to pass a level in 007 everything or nothing i kicked mi gamecube.

lost a week of sleep to Diablo 2... totally worth it tho

and i've been punched in the face for winning at CvM2 too much at the mall

i could skate b4 THPS but still lost a few brain cells trying to imitate Ironman... that was worth it too

... next yo! surprise nobody's mentioned a FF game yet...

DMC3- blisters from doing the crazy combos lol

Tekken 5- i got pissed so off at Jinpachi ipunched my wall, and it hur

God Hand- the boss battle with that samurai dude almost drove me insane

Tetris- one time i was really bored, so i was playing tetris for a couple hours straight, and after that for a few hours my eyes hurt, and every thing i did i tryed to make things line up perfectly >.>

dead or alive 3 i played it for 10 hrs straight and i litteraly wore off the first layer of skin on my thumbs

and counter strike same reason im convinced i did something to my eyes by not blinking for 20 mins straight not to mention i now see nerd terrorists everywhere i go OMG WHATS THAT BEHIND ME AAAAAAHHHHGGGG

Playing the original Guitar Hero for about 10 hours a day for two weeks eff'd my eyes up pretty bad. But on the bright side I'm pretty sure my right arm (strumming arm) has increased in muscle-mass after a year of continous play.

The only game to really physically affect me would be Oblivion. The first time I played was at around 8 o'clock in the morning to about 12 o'clock the next day. The longest span of playing a game in my life (27 hrs). I had sleep depravation, a really bad headaceand I burned my eyes out (needed new perscription lens). :o

Any Atari 7800 game hurt my fingers. The controller was just not user friendly at all.

The Genesis WWF games would wear out your hand too. Too much tapping of the buttons really fast to win a grapple. Thank goodness modern wrestling games do not require you to do this.

I think I also got very mentally worked up from some fighting game bosses such as Jinpachi in Tekken 5 and Shang Tsung in MK1.

Mario Party 1&2 was the worst. I tore 2 layers of skin on my palm playing tug o' war. My thumbs started to get indents in them and bruised after I played Gran Turismo 4 for to long. I eventually switched to R1 and L1 for Accelerate and Brake.

:o I cannot recall ever hurting myself playing a video game, I mean I've never even had eyestrains for playing too long. :cry: I feel like a gaming noob!

Mario Party 1... they didn't have that issue with people complaining about blistered hands for no reasonsmerlus

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned any Wii mini-games yet. Rayman Raving Rabbids, Wii Sports Boxing, and certain microgames from WarioWare have caused me actual full-body fatique.

Then there's the cramps you get from any game that has you continually rotating the analog stick, and of course just regular eye strain from playing a game too long, too intently, too late at night and in too dark a room.

Ninja Gaiden Black, story mode in master ninja, arghh get it away from me, mentally and physically daunting, I get off my couch all sweaty.

Halo 2 single player in legendary, darn I become afraid of open spaces from those levels.

F.E.A.R demo yes the demo, I am still scared, what floating eyes? argh they hurt. Finally a corridor, what is that? a girl what happened to her, I'll shoot her what noiooooooo those dudes argh no get them away, get them away

How could I forget GT on my PS2. The endurance races were actually okay, but those short races where you have the last lap neck and neck would practically snap my thumb.
