Far Cry Primal could be a really exciting departure within the Far Cry series, but that all depends on Ubisoft’s approach. What are some of the things you would love to see in the game?

i can't get excited about another ubisoft game despite how good the premise sounds after watch dogs. and i'm so bored with the open world template they love to recycle, so if i had to choose one thing i'd like to see it'd actually be a linear campaign, like the first far cry had, that has wide open areas but still ultimately follows a linear path.
then, when the campaign ends, they can open the island up and give access to all that filler content for the easily pleased / overly tolerant they love to pad their open world games with. would be a nice change
I want ubisoft to actually make a quality game for once in a while and not a half assed warm up of FC 2 again just with dinos and Monsters around this time BC ark and all that Dino games are populär atm...make it a good story for once like the first FC was, and nice gameplay maybe with so me New mechanics you know sumthin innovative like back in the days when there was New IP's in gaming and not sequel after sequel after Prequel after sequel and so on .suprise me...
@Jacanuk: Cept ARK isn't coming to consoles until, like, late summer 2016...
Ahh not a PC gamer , then ya Dino´s will have to wait a bit.
But that is not all bad news, most of the bug's should be ironed out when it does come on console and you can jump right in and breed Dodo´s galore :D
I want to see a day and night system like Far Cry 2 had, and I'd like to see a dynamic weather and foliage system like Far Cry 2 had as well.
More shamanic, drug induced hallucinogenic spiritual experiences also a plus.
What I don't want to see:-
1. Towers or high structures that you climb to give your character icons of all the stuff around you.
2. Loot chests just sitting around for you to grab.
3. Repetition
What I want to see:-
1. Actual survival aka Ark Survival
2. Eat and sleep to restore health
3. Tough AI
4. Proper day and night cycles
5. Random encounters
However my fear is it will be just like Farcry 3 and 4 but just set in a different time period.

Couldn't agree more.
Something different. I know Assassin's Creed sequels have not been so different from each other but, still different imo, I wouldn't call one plays exactly the same as other one (maybe ACR, Black Flag and ACU weren't needed though, imo), not like FC4 which plays exactly the same as FC3, it's just Farcry 3.5 imo, feels like what happens with COD series right now.
Far Cry Primal
Talk about a lame cash grab attempt from Ubisoft. not even going to check this one out in the bargin bin.
Also there is ARK survival already.
Agreed. I mean, it's nice that they try to do something different, but the stone age is kinda lame. FC Games have been on the decline since FC3. I bought FC4 and didn't even finish it. I'm not even gonna buy Far Cry Primal.
