I'm talking about a pure fun gameplay perspective , games that you just keep coming back to because the gameplay is so addictive and fun. Here's some of mine what is yours?

  • Burnout 3: Takedown
  • F.E.A.R.
  • SSX Tricky, SSX3
  • WWF no mercy and WWE SVR 06
  • Max Payne 2
  • GTA IV
  • Sleeping Dogs
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
  • Resident Evil 4

My list would be long.

Don't really have any fun with shallow games focused on graphics, lootboxes, story, or dating systems. So everything I've ever mentioned in the forums with high regard is "mechanically satisfying".

I like games to be games. Anything else is simply not to my preference.

Most Mario and Zelda games. Platinum Games’ games like Bayonetta 1 and 2 and Vanquish. Ninja Gaiden Black. Devil May Cry 5. Those are a few off the top of my head.

i have the most fun with non linear games that give me options to be creative through nuanced mechanics and accommodating environments. i always bang on about the dishonored games as good examples of this.

that's not to say the opposite can't be fun. something like doom 2016 is linear and not mechanically diverse, but its incredibly polished and great fun in short bursts

Probably Sunset Overdrive and Saints Row 4. Both these you can traverse the city so smoothly.

It's effortless to play them, that's how well the game mechanics were put together.

I also like how you unlock new weapons and abilities constantly.

You're also totally overpowered in them making the games really fun.
