Ubisoft abandoning Watch Dogs trademark

So it seems they are abandoning it, which means they are either canceling it or giving it a new name. The latter is the most likely one though

A name change might do the game good. "watch dogs" does sound kind of stupid to begin with.

But they should have thought of this before

Like "Watch Dawgs: Gangsta Hack" ? lol

Actually, I just saw the story being updated. They said that they are going to reinstate the name and that it has no effect on development of the title.

Speaking of which, I just pre-ordered Watch Dogs for PS4. Looking forward to trying it out.

Why they haven't announced a freaking release date is really scary

Hmm, strange that its so easy to fake a signature and get something as important as a trademark abandoned.

But even thou the premise is great i dont think i would shed to many e-tears if it turned out they cancelled it.

It began with a bang and has just fizzled out.

Why is it scary? they postponed it at least 6months so we are still 2 months away from their new "deadline"
