The Young Master-sama is such a sweet and cute trap, no wonder why the main character wants to protect him, it most likely feels really good sleeping in his warm hug at night, if there was also the RPG character customization feature for the playable character like in Dark Souls it would be a much more personalized experience for romance with the cute crossdressing Young Master.

No part of Sekiro suggests the heir is one. Men and women both wear kimono/ yukata. Gender usage varies on sash and pattern. The game refers the heir as he/かれ, not she/ かのじょ
