The original Disgaea is receiving a full blown Remake!

Nippon Ichi had a stage conference recently showing some new announcements.

One of which is the original Makai Senki Disgaea receiving a 15th anniversary Remake, not to be confused with half-baked ports like Disgaea PC

Youtube link is in Japanese but if you just what some information; all I can tell you is no actual footage of the remake was shown, was only teased, still exciting all the same.

Usotsuki Hime to Moumoku Ouji (Liar Princess and the Blind Prince) was also a highlight at the Nippon Ichi conference with a lot of praise_

May you tell us about this game ? I haven't heard about it before.

Persona 5 is better.

@dorog1995: Grid-based Tactical RPG with as much depth as the player wants to put into the experience.

Well received for balancing a stern plot, with a good sense of humor, pop cultural references, interesting characters.

Disgaea is certainly not the first Grid-based RPG, yet has a way of adding the games humor into its mechanics to differentiate itself. Such as these tower hold/ attacks
