The new pokemon game looks awesome! what are your thoughts on it?

Finally on switch the better experience and lets not forget its best new feature yet Co-op from now on Pokémon will have a lot more potential.

My only complaint is the online subscription not feeling good about that, already have a Xbox that's not really Nintendo's style either My other complaint is the characters, I swear they keep getting younger. at least in X and Y they looked like teens them Sun and Moon happened, then lets go Pikachu happened... now they look 5 years old!

I'm not that interested, to be honest. The game probably will be very short. It is a remake for GEN 1 which already was short game, but now there are no random battles.

I covered my thoughts over on Nintendo Fan Club Forums; so I'll just copy and paste what I wrote overall-

The game looks really bad, clearly targeting Go fans and not the core series players. Considering this is the Switch game hyped from the previous e3 I am greatly disappointed.

Putting nostalgia doesn't hide that it's a mobile sequel in a shallow skin of an old game, even more simplified.

I'll use Rest till 2019

Not for me, I disliked Pokemon Go. But I will keep an eye for reviews when it releases.

I'm more interested in the real Pokemon game next year.

I might pick this up depending on the price and content.

From what I've seen of it... doesn't seem to be what us core Pokemon fans want out of a first switch game. Maybe fans of Pokemon Go! OR younger audiences... Hmm.
