Its been said a billion times, but I'll say it again, this gen has been extremely hard on mid-tier publishers. Big hits are bigger than ever and 9 figure budgets, tons of content and multiple modes and indies are ever more ambitious (nods towards the four man team who is making No Man's Sky) so the mid tier has been crushed.

Granted their last game is the ultra crappy retail version of Left 4 Dead and the game before that was Kinect Star Wars (I wasn't too impressed Def Jam Icon), but once upon a time the studio made quality games that gamers had fun with.

.Based in the Dallas, TX suburb of Lewisville, Terminal Reality was founded in 1994 and quickly made a name for itself as a PC developer with the 3D Realms-published Terminal Velocity and Microsoft-published Fury3. In the early 2000s, it added consoles into its platform mix, creating the first two BloodRayne games for Majesco. More recently, it was the developer on Atari's 2009 hit Ghostbusters: The Video Game, as well as 2012's Kinect Star Wars.
