Super Mario 3D Land vs Super Mario 3D World, which is better?

3D Land is way better.

3D World is the game that was bundled with my WiiU, one of the few times I didn't enjoy a Mario game that much, never even bothered finishing the game.

3D Land on 3DS was fun but wouldn't call it a great Mario game either, it's what I expected at the time with Nintendos push on the 3D filter.

They both have this 'filler' vibe to them. But my vote goes the 3D Land.

So if you have a 3DS, probably better just to grab Super Mario Bros 3, and if you have a New 3DS? Super Mario World as well.

You've likely already played both but they're far better games.

I thought world was much better. Land is so incredibly easy and turns into a chore half way through. World was better in every way but still just an average mario game.

Had great fun on 3D world found 3D land a lot easier.

@Jshoelace: Yeah, but... Thats with multiplayer, Land just seemed to have better design choices.

As for me, both games are worth recommending

@monerson: I agree, but I think that due to World being made more for multiplayer, Land wins as the best "game" in a Land...slide. B)

But honestly, Land just seems to have much better design choices and just all-around better gameplay.

Super Mario 3D World is much better. Super Mario 3D Land was too easy.

@storm_of_swords: They were both incredibly easy, if anything World is much easier due to the fact you can get multiple people playing, which doesn't even change the difficulty.

World is better in every way, single player or multiplayer. It's my favorite of all of the Mario games, really.

I can't really say which is better. All I know is Land was boring by world 4 and there were testing I opened the game without playing and immediately closed it.

I've only played 3D Land on my 3DS. Don't have a Wii-U. Wish they would put World on the Switch, which I do have.

I'm pretty sure world was meant to be the better game, on the better system, with the much funner experience.
