I don't really like it, its just decent imo and don't even consider it to be a true mario game because it really wasn't supposed to be.7CloudStrife7
exactly.
i just didnt like it either.
Are we talkin' the REAL mario 2, the extremely difficult one, or the one where you pick up mushrooms and beats and crap with toad and peach etc.krunkfu2
Super Mario 2 with the mushrooms and crap...the Real Mario 2 is called Lost Levels in America I think

Couldnt agree more. I always disliked it when I was younger and I was never sure why until I was told that it wasnt originally a Mario game which totally made sense.
It's usually considered the black sheep of his NES adventues, but after playing them all on the Wii again, I think it might actually be my favorite!Corvidae
I'm surprised to see how many peopl eare saying they didn't like Super Mario Brothers 2 for the NES. Personally, I loved it then and I still enjoy it now. Picking up onions and turnips as weapons...playing as Peach and Toad and Mario and Luigi...the fact that the main end boss is a giant toad and not Bowser...and even a twist ending!
I like Super Mario Brothers 2. I certainly found it more enjoyable then the first Super Mario Brothers.
I agree, I thought it rocked back then. I loved being able to choose my character. I loved the level designs, and even though I hated girls at the time, I just had to pick peach cause she could jump the highest or float or both or something like that, lol. skreetpreachaHahahaha same here. Peach floated for a bit. As for Luigi though his jump was horrible and all over the place. This was one of the most memorable games to me on the NES.
you freak!!!! lol, just kidding man, everyones entitled to their own opinion.
smb 2 was ok, just not greatness. mario 3 and mario world, those are what mario games are meant to be imo. they could produce games like that for the rest of my life and i'd be happy.
