This is the first I've heard of this. I don't believe it's true, but if it is I am very disappointed. :(

Arcades are pretty much dead where I live, so /shrug.
It is an issue for tournament players, but not that big a deal, I think.
there are no arcades in america so why would they release the arcades here. arcades in america will still have import versions, but only the hardest of the hardcore arcades, (usually the ones where pros play) and im sure it will come out in america once it goes to consoles.ninjavelmor

Well I don't know about you guys in America but over here (uk) arcades are pretty much dead, unsurprisingly given the fact there are hardly any new games and how expensive they are.csliney
Hell, the only "arcades" I know of within reasonable driving distance (and that means bowling alleys!), the newest machines there are Virtua Fighter 3!!!!
