Something better than the utter garbage Nintendo spewed out this year. Also probably an announcement on the PSP2. The Xbox 720 and PS4 are just barely beginning development (in fact I don't think the contract with the PS4 has been signed with the manufacturer/developers), so I don't expect much from them. We are in the prime of this generation, about the half way mark, and I expect games that really should blow us away to be announced, particularly IPs.
That and I'd like to hear a release date of FFXIII, that White Knight Chronicles actually will come out besides in Japan and that Mass Effect 2 is coming out soon.
New Team ICO project, I expect GoW3 to blow us away and the 'secret PS3 game' to be revealed as a PSN downloadble puzzle game.
I dont expect PSP2 to be revealed. PSP is still selling well, and Sony doesn't have a lot of very happy customers who would be willing to shell out $200+ for it.
I expect MS to annnounce the Xbox 720 and that it would be launch in November'10.
Definately Halo 3: ODST which will ship shortly after. I'd love to see Mass Effect 2 with an announcement that it will be released sometime near the end of '09. Would also like to see more on Final Fantasy XIII with a release date. Microsoft has said they'd like to change things up a little for their E3 conferences by showing products that are a little further off on the horizon. A peek at their next console would be awesome as would Gears of War 3 and/or Halo 4.
I don't expect it, but I hope Nintendo will announce something besides more crap casual games because I've only been spending money on the VC and a little on the WW stuff; otherwise, it's collecting dust.
