Nah, not worth paying for it again on Console, I'll buy it some day on PC when I have a good rig for mods. There's too many good games I haven't played for me to play games I already have.
They also get mods on consoles these days.
Like?
That 2GB limit kind of puts the kibosh on anything worthwhile.
I don't know of any limits but i do know they could download mods for Fallout 4.
There is a 2GB maximum limit on the mods on consoles. Most mods on PC worth downloading are bigger than that. Even some weapon or armour packs are multi-GB affairs.
Why is there a limit though? Is it the harddisk in there or just a limit set by Bethesda?
It's a limit set by Sony. They don't want people overloading their already stressed network.

That isn't correct. It's a 2GB limit on XBox 1; it is even worse on PS4 (900MB)

Oh good lord.
@foxhound_fox: it's pretty rough - only 900mb is... well, I guess it is moot since they haven't even implemented them yet on PS4, but it's pretty ridiculous
That pretty much means all that's going to be available is single-quests with no added assets and single-item mods (no packs). It's not even worth it.

If Skyrim SE's implementation is anything like Fallout 4, then it will be very limited. Currently, XB1 has a 2GB total cap - my fairly conservative mod package of Unofficial Patches + DynDOLOD + Better Vampires + a bunch of item packs alone would bust that cap easily. PS4's limitations are even worse; 900 MB cap, and certain assets can't be modded because the PS4 uses proprietary formats for them.
Finally, there's SKSE; many mods, such as SkyUI and the aforementioned DynDOLOD and Better Vampires rely on it. Unless XB1 and PS4 has some sort of application extension system for their executables that I don't know about, consoles won't be getting SKSE or the mods that use it.
