do you guys remember how on the original zeldas you had to turn the NES off by pressing power and reset at the same time......well once my mom had almost had the entire gold edition zelda beat and i didn't know about the trick and her file got deleted......if i were her i would've killed me

I never use that technique on any NES game and I've never once had a save file disappear. If anything, it seems like that would do the deleting.

I have Legend of Zelda for the NES (yes, I still have my very first NES, and it still works!), but I never understood the point of holding Reset when shutting it off. Anyone know what the point of doing that is?

ha, so funny you say that....the Legend of Zelda is the only game my mom ever and still has played....she would take lunch breaks and come home to play it.....she beat the game before i could.....kind of sad she would never get into a game like she did that one.

i've never even heard of holding down reset while shutting it off.
