I know it should exist, I would find it strange if it did'nt... I'm looking for a game like rock band, but where you, instead of mashing buttons, mash real instruments. For example: Notes are falling down the screen, and every note is connected to a certain piano press and a mic is used to record these presses. Before playing, you bind a certain note/pianokey to a certain in-game note. I'd really appreciate if someone finds a game like this, if it exists.

Well, there's Rocksmith, which works with a real guitar and does a fantastic job of giving the feeling of playing a music game like Rock Band while still teaching actual guitar skills. I also remember a free downloadable game called Synthesia (or something like that) that used midi song files to generate a keyboard Guitar Hero game. For drums, I'd suggest just playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band on the highest difficulty level with an electric drumset hooked up to it. I don't know of any games that mix all the instruments together like Rock Band does. Rocksmith is the closest thing I can think of that could be considered a real-life Rock Band game. Hope this helps!
