Rail Shooters needs to make a return to the gaming world!

I do wish on Rail Shooters could do something to revive the genre. It was always one of my favorite genres. You would think VR would be the perfect springboard to bounce it back but it's not sticking as well as I would like. Rail Shooters like Time Crisis, House of the Dead, and even the Jurassic Park Rail Shooter were all fun in the Arcades.

VR developers needs to revive the genre.

Well, you could play Gal Gun. It is rail shooter that you play harem king that all the girls wants him. So he "kills" them by shooting kisses. It is stupid idea, but unique. I would play it myself someday.

That already happened with the Wii.

You can make your own rails shooter. I was thinking of doing one. Why wait for them to be mainstream again. I expect more rails shooters because of this course.

I'd love a new House of the Dead or Virtua Cop, but my dream is for the return of Panzer Dragoon.

Sega would be insane not to revive it after Unity came out.

NO! 99% of them suck without an actual proper Gun Controller.

There was a resurgence of these games when the Wii was out. I agree though, i wish these type of games got more attention.

Until what I aim at with a gun controller is where I shoot, I would prefer it stay down. The wii sensor bar or ps camera aim is dreadful IMO. You just adjust your wrist a little bit to aim at something instead of actually aiming like oldschool tvs used to do or like arcade machines do. Always hated that.

I am suggesting you youtube to wav instead of mp3 or aac because wav is a perfect audio file format with quality sound.
