COD 4 was my favorite. However, I had the most fun with my friends in high school playing Modern Warfare 2. Good times.

World at War. It's been going downhill after that. I'm hoping we finally get another great one this year with it hopefully returning to WW2.

Last one I truly enjoyed was Modern Warfare 2, though I consider World at War my favorite. Playing Black Ops made me lose interest in the franchise. Modern Warfare 3 was the last chance I ever gave it. But I do actually plan on playing the next one with it returning to WWII. It'll be interesting to see if much has changed after 6 years.

I'd say Black Ops III was the best all around package. Infinite Warfare had an excellent campaign but the multiplayer was just ok.
