If you like one on one fighting games, I would recommend battle arena toshindin or X-Men academy. If you like racing, I enjoyed CTR - Crash Team Racing. Platforming, the original Crash Bandicoot is a classic. Skateboarding : Grind Session. Slower Pace adventure; Odd World: Abe's Odyssey

Twisted Metal 1 and 2, Rogue Trip, Wipeout XL, Nightmare Creatures, Crash Bandicoots, GTA 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter 1 and 2, Need for Speeds 1,2 and 3 and some others that I can't really think of at the moment

To those I would add FFVIII, Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Suikoden I and II. I still play these games to this day.

Xenogears, Chrono Cross, FF7 to 9, Symphony of the Night, Threads of Fate, any Spyro game, any Crash game, Suikoden 1 and 2, NFS: High Stakes, hell...pretty much anything by Square.

There is a lack of Fear Effect in here...Come on... 2 even had lesbians boys!!! Lol. They were fantastic games beside the point

Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3 (especially 1 & 2), Dino Crisis 1 & 2 (although the second is more of an action game than the first), Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3, Spyro 1, 2 & 3, Oddworld Abe's Oddysee & Abe's Exodus, and Silent Hill.

These first 3 are my top picks that dont get as much shine as the other great PS1 games, but are among my and alot of others favorite games of all time.

TOMBA! Highly Recommend!

Star Ocean: Second Story (Very innovative and fun!) Highly Recommend

Vagrant Story (very cool visual style, and fun of course!) Highly Recommend

Other great games include... Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Legend of Legaia, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy Tactics, Legend of Dragoon, Twisted Metal 2, Tekken 3, Chrono Cross, Ape Escape!, Valkyrie Profile, Parasite Eve, Silent Hill, Ehrgeiz, Resident Evil 2.
