Playing online with different consoles

I own an Xbox 360 and I was wondering how to play online with other gamers on different consoles since in last March the two platforms came together for online playing

If you mean the Xbox One and Xbox 360, then you should be able to go online and they should be able to join you. I'm assuming this is what you mean?

@ismaeel: my bf has a playstation and I have an Xbox. Last March Microsoft enabled gamers to play with other gamers on different consoles. Example: xbox and playstation can play online together

@beth117: That's not possible yet, as Sony has not yet approved cross platform yet.
