These kinds of games seem very rare. And I don't mean the kind that let you choose sides. I'm talking about the games that pretty much force you to be evil. The only one I can recall is Deception 2. Are there any others?
I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know there must be some out there. You might want to change the title of your thread and you may get a better response.
Playing the role of the bad guy exclusively is something that very few books or films do, I just think for the most part the people making the commercial decisions don't think that perspective will have much appeal (though I bet there is a sizable audience for such a thing).
Well I can't name any either, though I know for certain that if you made such a game you would get a huge response in no-time ever tried searing on google on terms like Play as the bad guy? got over 2,540 results and it can easily be rephrased into play as the monster of play as the villain for even more results, honestly there is a limit to how long peps wanna play as the Mr do-good-er of a hero/heroine, me Ive been looking for a game where you can play the bad guys for over 3 months without finding something that is worth more then 1 playthrough (usually 5 hours)
Ive always loved the villians in gaming , movies , you name it..i hate it that the good guy always wins... bleh... (well most of the time) Umm Goldeneye - rogue agent is all i can think of. Maybe GTA games...kinda :S
GTA games don't really make the main character look like villian.
Criminal and ruthless, but not exactly evil.
Actually, I can't really think of any game that had me playing really evil main character, except for the choice games like Oblivion and Black and White and stuff like that.
Kratos is more like a Anti-Hero Really, albeit a Badass one, as for purely playing the bad guy as in conquer the qorld and kill any that opose you style? none, lots of Anti-Hero titles though.
Sheesh really wish someone ANYONE would make a game where you'd kidnap the princess and slaughter that goodfornothing knight sent to rescue her..... awell most likely aint gonna happen anytime soon
